Since 2002, the Les Halles Group has sponsored tennis tournaments and events for junior boys and girls from the heart of our cities under the title: “Less Halles Cup”
The Les Halles Cup has been the title sponsor of the Harlem Junior Tennis Tournament’s 12 and 14-year-old brackets since 2006. We have proudly provided young inner-city players with equipment, professional appearances, barbecue parties, award ceremonies, gifts and a fun, rewarding atmosphere — win or lose.
- Winners of the age 12 bracket are given a scholarship to attend tennis camp at the Saddlebrook Tennis Center in Tampa, Florida. At one of the country’s most prestigious tennis camps they will receive instruction that will elevate their game to a new level.
- The 14-year-old winners are sponsored to enter into the Junior Orange Bowl Tennis Tournament Qualifiers in Coral Gables, FL where they will compete with the world’s best young players.
This year, the Les Halles Cup will create a travel fund to help our winners get to Florida. Les Halles Group will be donating $1 from each sale of two delicious virgin cocktails: the Virgin Orange Mojito and a Sparkling Blueberry Lemonade into the travel fund. On top of that, Les Halles will donate $2 from the sale of any dessert purchased for a child 14 or under. Help us lighten the travel costs of our Les Halles Cup winners by bringing the kids down to Les Halles for a treat!
Throughout these tournaments the Les Halles Cup has been rewarded with young players who have challenged themselves with the discipline of tennis, which resonates in other areas of their academics.
